A succession of layers, each one independent of the others, laid on each other creates a proliferation of nesting dynamics and forms. The hippocampus stores visual information this way, in layers that interact. That’s the idea here. A layer of creative activity was allowed to drift down and settle on the surface to create an interactive visual field. I did this six times. Here and there, with brush and terra cotta pens, I roughed out some details.
