A 1999 Tucson piece done while seeing saguaro everywhere I looked and walked. I fished this small piece out of curbside trash in the early morning. It was originally an idyllic countryside. The original scene can be seen through the center saguaro like a window. The blazing sunsets and blue evening shadows spiritualized these “standing people.”
