"Here, see what you can do with this." Marty handed me this rippled construction of discarded plastic blinds cut to about 11" then glued and mounted in a tight frame. It took a long time to turn his challenge into a Bricolage piece. I covered the piece with latex and spray paint. It hung on a wall for six months before I dripped glitter glue and let it course down over the ridges. It hung on the wall for another six months. I brushed it with acrylics. Another six months. A tweak and another six months. "Just one more tweak," I said.
