My doctor says proudly and
stiffly, “I like to tell it like it is.” Okay, I like a clear,
honest opinion. I didn’t object when he looked down at me in ICU and
said, “You are going to be a cardiac cripple for the rest of your
life. Sorry, but I have to tell it like it is.” I still didn’t
