Crossing Main Street 12" x 36" framed (3 layers) I saw my second wife for the first as she was crossing Main Street, walking behind her mother like a fledgling. She was coy, aloof, and haughty. But this was how we all walked around in Guadalupe, the young and vigorous of course. We were macho, and the girls were haughty. And always, the eye looking around to see what it could see while crossing Main Street. |
